Overview
Image Resizer changes a picture’s width and height so it matches the layout you need — social banners, ecommerce thumbnails, app icons, print proofs, or form upload requirements. On CalcoWorks, resizing happens in your browser: upload an image, set pixel dimensions, optionally keep the aspect ratio, then download the resized file. You see the original pixel size after upload, which makes it easier to judge how far you are scaling and whether a platform’s hard limit is already close.
Resizing is different from cropping. Resizing scales the whole frame; cropping would remove parts of the image. Keeping aspect ratio on prevents stretched faces and warped logos. Turn the ratio lock off only when a site demands exact pixels and you accept letterboxing or separate crop work later. If a marketplace wants a rigid square and your photo is landscape, lock the ratio to the longest safe side first, then crop in another step — forcing both axes without a crop almost always looks wrong.
